Sri Lanka beach volleyball (Mens) players secured first win at South Asian Beach Games 2011 short while ago (08th). Beach Games officially announced open by Sri Lanka President Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksha at glamoures openning ceremony. The volleyball match played as the openning match under flood lights at newly formed beach games venue.
Sri Lankans Team 1 Played against India Team 2 at the pool stage match. South Asian Beach volleyball specialists Mahesh and Wasantha Rathnayaka played for Sri Lanka.
